In zak en as na Humo’s Comedy Cup!

Donderdag 29 december, 17h30, een ongedefinieerde man komt naar ons toe, ‘ trek maar een briefke ‘. Ik trek nummer 1, kut met pruimen, ik moet beginnen, dus één ding stond vast: Han Solo, ge zult niet winnen! Nog nooit heeft er een openingsact deze Comedy Cup gewonnen. Spijtig, laten we dan maar meteen maken dat we niet afgaan en direct de sfeer erin brengen. Half negen, Raf Coppens begint met zijn presentatie. Het publiek begint voorzichtig te lachen, en vier minuten later, hoor ik de naam Han Solo en hup de beuk erin. De eerste minuten gaan stroef, maar ik voel dat we aan het opbouwen zijn en het gaat steeds beter, ja, ja, de eerste applausjes komen, lachen, de eindact, wel die zit, mooi applaus, ik ben trevreden. De andere kandidaten doen het ook goed. Trouwens allemaal sympatieke kerels. Mungu en Bart Cannaerts kregen de meeste reacties van het publiek, uiteindelijk werd het Bart, een terechte winnaar, maar natuurlijk dikke kut voor Mungu. Na afloop veel gezopen op kosten van Bart en veel steun gekregen van mijn collega’s.
